Pixel 11 pricing details emerge ahead of Google’s launch event.

Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 family is expected to launch with a major storage change, according to a pricing leak from French deals site Dealabs, which claims the company will remove the 128GB entry-level option across the lineup.

The leak suggests every Pixel 11 model will start with 256GB of storage, while higher-end models, including the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold could offer configurations reaching up to 1TB.

The reported storage options are:

  • Pixel 11: 256GB and 512GB
  • Pixel 11 Pro: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB
  • Pixel 11 Pro XL: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB
  • Pixel 11 Pro Fold: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB

The move would bring Google closer to other flagship smartphone makers that have increasingly moved away from 128GB base storage tiers.

Prices reportedly climb by around €100

While the storage upgrade could soften the impact, the Pixel 11 series is expected to launch at higher prices in Europe.

According to Dealabs, the Pixel 11 could start at €999 (£879) for 256GB, while the Pixel 11 Pro may begin at €1,199 (£1,079). The Pixel 11 Pro XL is reportedly priced from €1,399 (£1,279), and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could start at €1,999 (£1,799).

The leaked European pricing is:

ModelStoragePrice
Pixel 11256GB€999/£879
Pixel 11512GB€1,129/£999
Pixel 11 Pro256GB€1,199/£1,079
Pixel 11 Pro512GB€1,329/£1,199
Pixel 11 Pro1TB€1,589/£1,429
Pixel 11 Pro XL256GB€1,399/£1,279
Pixel 11 Pro XL512GB€1,529/£1,399
Pixel 11 Pro XL1TB€1,789/£1,629
Pixel 11 Pro Fold256GB€1,999/£1,799
Pixel 11 Pro Fold512GB€2,129/£1,919
Pixel 11 Pro Fold1TB€2,389/£2,149

For the standard Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro, buyers are effectively paying what last year’s 256GB models already cost; you’re just no longer able to buy the cheaper, smaller-storage version. The Pro XL and Pro Fold, by contrast, appear to be getting straight €100 hikes across every storage tier, with storage size held equal. No US pricing has leaked yet.

Google expected to announce Pixel 11 in August

The Pixel 11 series is reportedly scheduled for a Google hardware event on Aug. 12, with pre-orders expected around the same time. Dealabs claims the devices could go on sale on Aug. 20.

The lineup is expected to include new color options, including Light Sterling, Midnight Haze, Fuchsia, Moss, Light Fog, Dune, and Pine. The leaked information also aligns with earlier reports suggesting Google could introduce new features, such as Pixel Glow, a possible lighting feature spotted in Android 17 beta builds.

Why the pricing shift matters for buyers

The Pixel 11 pricing change reflects a broader challenge in the smartphone industry: rising component costs, especially for memory. Reports linked the increase to higher RAM and storage-related costs affecting device makers.

For consumers, the biggest tradeoff is paying more upfront in exchange for double the base storage. Buyers who previously considered the cheapest Pixel model may face a higher entry price, but they would no longer be limited to 128GB.

Waiting could be an option for some buyers

Google’s Pixel phones have historically received post-launch discounts, which could make waiting an attractive strategy for price-conscious customers.

If the Pixel 11 arrives with only modest hardware changes, the previous Pixel generation could become a stronger value option once retailers begin reducing prices.
