1 network connection, 2 devices

I need to connect a windows 2000 pro workstation and a netport print server to my w2k network. I have 1 network connection for this. I had the computer and print server connected using an SMC Etherez hub 3605T 10mb. I have tried a linksys 10/100 8 port hub also. I still cannot connect. If I plug the network connection directly into the workstation, I am able to get connected. I’ve also tried the hubs without the printserver being connected. Still no connection. The network card is a 3com 3c920 integrated fast ethernet. Thank you
