2 issues, adaptive servier Anywhere and Symantec Password Validation Servic

when I boot up I get the following message 2800[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]Invalid User ID or Password\

When I try to launch Ghost Console (V8.3) the message reads ‘Unable to connect to Database’.
I think these issues are related and I can’t figure out how or how to correct the situation.

In addition I am unable to start the Symantec Password Validation Service. Is this necessary to correct the above problem or is it something I don’t need to be concerned about?

Please help
