2wire router 2700HG-S

I would love to know how to disconnect my DSL function on this router. I have changed over to cable, but I have two Desktops and a laptop and I just want to be connected once more. Is there any help, or have I wasted money on this Wireless router from another company. And I am looking for the simplest way possble.
