I put this question out over a week ago and did not get much respond so I’m tring again
I have two 3300 switches stacked with a matrix cable, I purchased a 1100 switch and matrix module.
1. I will be installing the matrix module onto my existing 3300 switch and cable unit 1 port to it’s self.
2. I will stack the second 3300 and cable unit 2 3300 port to this second 3300
3. I will stack the new 1100 and cable unit 3 port to this 1100.
Question ? my first 3300 is running s.w. ver. 2.00and the second 3300 is running s.w. ver. 2.20
I beleave I should be running the latest s.w. before installing this new 1100 switch, which is not plugged in yet. Can someone give me step-by-step directions ? If I browse to my 3300 under config. I see a s.w. upgrade selection. It brings up a menu asking for Filename & Server Address ? I have downloaded s2s02_68.bin and s2s02_69.bin. But I cannot seem to get to these files on my computer. Help ?
How and where do I get TFTP server ?
