5.1 surround output issues

issues with combination of:
IOS Catalina
Google Chrome
Netflix (or other streaming platform)
Soundflower
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi 5.1 Pro external sound card

I can not get 5.1 surround while streaming Netflix (or any other streaming platform, for that matter) I am able to get 5.1 surround when i play a .mp4, .mkv, et. cet in programs like VLC

Also, I can not control the volume with the keyboard buttons when i have my external USB Sound Blaster sound card selected as my default audio output. I’ve tried using Soundflower and it only seems to work on 2 channels. Does not output to my 5.1 system
