All of our best jobs are being given away – and the H1B people really think they are entitled to come here and take the cream of the crop jobs. These are not janitorial jobs, minimum wage jobs, or even moderate paying jobs.
50% of my huge healthcare company employees are from I—- and a large contingent are offshore. It is about MONEY! Get it right Jason-it is cheaper to have your X-rays read offshore than here. Even the onshore staff is paid significantly less than the current staff. My company does not have time to invest in any American training or future, they need everything Now and they need it Cheap!
They are selling our intellectual property and crippling themselves. They are selling the futures of our children.
Jason do you have children? It might be smart to tell them not to go into IT because they will be Outsourced to a lower paid vendor. Even worse, when they lose their jobs they will have to move back home with you. That will serve you right.
I think you picked the wrong audience – you should run for CEO of an outsourcing company because we don’t appear to be buying it.
