98 client unable to see shares on 2k srv

I created a couple on new directories on my file server 2k. I shared these directories out and added the appropriate permissions. My NT and 2k clients can see the shares in network neighborhood but my 98 clients cannot. I rebooted the client and synch the domain all the usual steps. I can map to the directories from the 98 clients and connect.
Any help is appreciated.
