98 wont install print driver off server

I have a bunch of 98 machines that I have recent started running into a problem. As I try and connect to a printer off of a NT print server. The 98 client accepts the port (ip address) assigned to the printer, but then asks me to manually select the print driver from the “install printer” list. But I have other 98 machines that install off the network fine???
