With modern smartphones becoming increasingly powerful, I’ve been wondering how close we really are to using them as full replacements for traditional PCs or laptops—especially for work-related tasks.
Features like cloud integration, mobile apps, AI assistants, and even desktop modes on some devices seem to be closing the gap. At the same time, there are still limitations around multitasking, software compatibility, and overall productivity workflows.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this:
Have you tried using a smartphone as your primary work device?
Which tasks work well on mobile, and where does it still fall short?
Do you think future advancements (AI, cloud computing, etc.) will make smartphones a true PC replacement?
It feels like we’re moving toward a more mobile-first workflow, but I’m curious whether professionals are actually adopting this in real-world scenarios or if it’s still more of a secondary solution.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences and opinions!
