I live in Europe and I’m spoliled ofer here with all that’s techi, but in the USA? Here’s my problem: My father lives in rural New Jersey, and we (the whole family) would like to see him have broad-band access. Sounds easy right? Nope, not in the USA. We have penquins in the Antartic with CAMs, but try to get broad-band in New Jersey, no luck. The phone carrier says it’s too far for them, go else-where. The cable co. sent someone to “Do an estament” and they disapeared from the Earth, and now the Cable co. won’t even acknolowage that they might even try, no discusion, period. (They won’t even talk about it) I’ve thought about a SAT sys., but the info I’ve gotten is more for business (Big business) and far too expensive. ($400-$600) For a maybe, part time, limited band with, and mediocre speed. I’m at a total loss here. Any Tips? Just what do people do in the USA for service? (He’s not that out-there rural)
