Hi All,
Why I pose this question is because I recently has a my SBS 2003 crash due to a virus or other such malware which consequently affected both HDs in my RAID setup (the mirror HD was also affected and useless).
So, I am thinking that I would be better off having two HDs (300gb each) and using the SBS Backup facility to copy the contents of the 1st HD onto the 2nd HD weekly at, say 2.00am in the morning once a week?
Now the 1st HD is partitioned as: C: (system 50gb) d: (Profiles 50gb) and e: (DATA 200gb) and if I use ‘Backup’ to backup c;, d: and e: onto the 2nd HD (no partitions just a hefty 300gb) with a folder called for instance , ‘backup’ (ha ha) then I could have SBS backup all 3 of the 1st HDs partitions onto it which would mean any thing going wrong with the 1st HD would allow me enough time to use the 2nd HDs backup to get the system back up and running.
Therefore I am looking for the yeahs and the nays to my question of what I should do?
Look forward to hearing from you!
Regards
Gerryw
