Abandoning the 3.5 floppy drives.

We want to market a computer to our clients and not include a 3.5 floppy drive. The units will all be running XP Pro and have MB with the 845 chipsets. What problems would we have doing this if any? We want to use the slot in the case for a daughter board with a proprietary pieces of hardware.
