About CD-rom problem in win98/win98SE

I have installed win98se on my PIII celeron computer.Uptill i installed win98se on my computer i was able to see the cd rom properly in its place with the drive name h:\.I have partitioned my 40 GB drive into 4 partitions of 10 gb each.Now after installation when i rebooted my computer, i was not able to see my cd-rom drive with the letter h:\.So i added the line as “LASTDRIVE=Z” in my config.sys file in c:\ & then again rebooted it.But still the problem persists.Please anyone can help regarding this, then please mail me at my address :-
