Access Database “Invalid Path” connection over Sonicwall VPN

by gz2525 . Updated 18 years, 2 months ago

I have my server setup at home where my company’s Access Database is located.

There are two files: MDB file and MDE file (which is used as my UI)

A worker of mine is connecting through Sonicwall’s Global VPN.

The connection is fine and I had her map the network drive specifically to the folder where the database is located. When she tries to open the UI it says, “The “””” is an invalid path”

I tried re-linking the MDE to the MDB tables again and that didn’t work.

The file works perfectly fine on the home network and currently I have her running a remote desktop connection to another computer on my server and then the database will opening.

Please help me with a solution to get the database to open over the VPN without using a remote desktop.
