Access Denied

I have a laptop user in a facility who logs on to our domain through their LAN. We have an intranet framework in place where users have to have a password which the browser retains until it expires. I’ve modified his lmhost and have him run some regfiles in order for him to get access to the intranet sites. But I can’t get him to get to our HR website. He gets Error:Access Denied. Any ideas?
