Access Denied. Driver Wont Install

I have a soundmax integrated sound drive that will not install. It says Access Denied. I have tried uninstalling the driver through device manager. I have also removed the soundmax entries in the registry. I have tried the remove program that came with the soundmax driver. It also does not matter whether I try to install the driver through add hardware wizard or through the install executable. I have also tried 2 different driver versions. I am signed in as admin as well as having proper permissions. PLEASE HELP
