Access Denied Errors

A couple months ago, I installed a Windows Storage Server 2003 appliance. I moved all of my users home directories to a share on the appliance.

Ever since then, some users will sporadically get “access denied” errors when trying to open or close files in their directory. Each user has been assigned full control of their home directory.

Here’s an example. If a user tries to open a word doc from their directory while in word, they might get an access denied error. If they just go out to Windows explorer and double click on the file, it will open fine.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? How did you solve it?
