Access mdb File to ASP on Web Server

I am using ASPmaker 6 to convert an Access 2000 mdb file to ASP for uploading to an Internet Server. It worked fine except after uploading the mdb file still is an mbd file and requires a copy of Acess to open it. I an really new at this. What am I doing wrong?
