Access Point Output Errors

by yuemo . Updated 20 years, 1 month ago

Hi,

We are using Cisco Access Points. Just curious how many output errors are too much. Following are from one of our APs.

—————
Receive/Transmit Statistics
Receive Transmit
5 Min Input Rate (bits/sec) 29000 5 Min Output Rate (bits/sec) 87000
5 Min Input Rate (packets/sec) 5 5 Min Output Rate (packets/sec) 9
Time Since Last Input 00:00:00 Time Since Last Output 00:00:00
Total Packets Input 19315301 Total Packets Output 46564730
Total Bytes Input 904656401 Total Bytes Output 4109506114

Error Statistics
Receive Transmit

Total Input Errors 0 Total Output Errors 90238
Throttles 0 Last Output Hang never
———————–
The big question for us is that is the number of “Total Output Errors” normal compared to the “Total Packets Output”? It may be a wrong comparison? (Time frame may be an important factor, we did not clear the counts, so the number could be for the last half year or so.)

Any ideas, comments?

Thanks,

-Yuemo
