We have a large database containing statistical data on road improvements and conditions which has been in use for three years. We updated to Office2000 in January and began getting errors. As soon as the SR-1 was released we applied it to the workstations. However, the errors persist. We have noticed that if we open a report first, then go to the queries to make changes, we receive a message indicating that we do not have access and the item is already open or is locked by another user — which it isn’t. We have tried copying the reports or queries, but they will not copy and paste into the same database or a different database; we receive the error OR sometimes the item will copy but when we close and reopen the database, the copied query or report is gone. Is there a solution?
PS We reinstalled Office and SR-1 in an effort to correct this with no improvement.
