Access to Netware IE shows password

We have a need for some users to access our Novell 5.1sp4 server running NDS7 to open files without the Novell client. We are currently using IE5.5 to do this. As long as the user is just viewing files and directories, everything is fine, but upon opening a file, the user’s password appears in the title bar. Has anyone found a way to suppress this?
