Access to Network Shared Drives

Hi all,

We have a remote network setup w/about 60 users who are reporting sporadic access to shared network files. When they attempt to access a file resource, initially they are told that they file does not exist and so, they will close the folder and then reaccess it w/no problems. Our Fileserver is Win2k3 and all machines accessing the server are patched w/XPSP2.

Also note that our fileserver is located about 12 blocks away from our location. We do have a firewall, but we have poked a hole in our firewall to allow access to these resources.
