Accessing a domain name on the web

I have a client that has a Win2000 domain server: “name.com”. He also has a separate web domain by the same name: “www.name.com” Any internal client PC cannot access the external website. What change has to be made on the server to accomplish this? There is a Linksys router and cable modem on the LAN providing internet service. The server IP is the first DNS entry in each PC.
