Accessing FTP site

We are trying to access a particular FTP site and we are receiving the message “windows can’t access this folder make sure you typed the file name correctly or enter the right user name”
We have tried this from multiple machines on the network and on a server outside the firewall and have been unsuccessful but we are able to connect when using a different ISP at another site.
