Accessing Mobile device connected to USB/Socket with C#.Net

I am trying to develop a windows application which should access a mobile device when it is connected to USB port/Socket using c#.net.I request someone to suggest some sites that would be helpful for me in developing the application.I am in a dilemma whether there any .net class that helps in accessing the mobile device connected to our system.
