ActiveX Component Installation

I have an ActiveX Component created. I have compiled and packaged it in a local machine. I am using this ActiveX Component in an ASP page.
Now I am hosting this page on the Web Server. I want to know, do I need to install this ActiveX component on the Web Server or will my client machines will be able to download and use the component directly?
