Add a sound event..

I recently installed a program under the admin login (W2K). The app added some sound events, but when I then created my user account, the sound events are not there, and therefore I do not get sounds from this app. How can I add the sound events to my user account (profile?) without reinstalling the app? (I have run a few upgrades from the web, and I’d rather not go through that again if I don’t have to!)
