add nt 4 server to existing network

Would like some insight as to best way to proceed. I currently have a lan with one NT4 server on which we run Exchange 5.5, a proprietary business application, and store documents. Have inherited another NT4 Server with faster processers, more mem. and storage. Whats best plan to utilize new server?
