Adding 2nd CD-ROM & mounting Jazz drive

Hi,
I just started using Linux a few weeks ago. After having lots of videor elated issues with RedHat 6.1 I decided to buy Caldera eDesktop 2.4 and it installed perfectly! The installer auto detected my primary IDE CD-ROM drive and it works great. I have a 2nd CD-ROM drive connected to the same controller as a slave and it is a burner. First of all, how do I mount this 2nd CD-ROM and then how do I get Linux to recognize it as a burner? While I’m at it, I also have a SCSI Jazz drive attached tothis machine. The drivers for my Adaptec 2940 controller are loaded automatically every time I boot Linux. The Jazz drive is id=3, how do I mount this device? Thanks!
