Adding a new network location in vista

Hi, I have a problem in windows Vista… I have recently installed a new router and now a file server(Linux Centos with samba) on my system isnt showing in explorer or any load/save dialogs. I can access the device in explorer by typing \\192.168.1.100 in the address bar and then all is revealed and works except that this machine still doesnt appear in the network locations…
Any windows experts able to help me out please?
