Adding a Windows 2000 DC to a Windows 2003 Active Directory

Does anyone know if it is possible to promote a windows 2000 server to a DC in a Windows 2003 active directory which is running in Windows 2000 native mode?

More importantly, I need to promote a Windows 2000 machine to be the first DC in a child domain.

If anyone has done this, please could they let me know and advise of any problems they encountered.
