Adobe Distiller Server

Does anyone here use Adobe Distiller Server? If so, how easy was it to deploy? Do you feel it’s a good product?

Basically, I’m thinking about recommending this for purchase to automate conversion of several thousand documents per day from PostScript to PDF, and I want to get some opinions, good and bad before I make the final recommendation.
