Adobe Reader 8 Install Question

I’m rolling out Adobe Reader 8 from a login script on a server. My question is — does Adobe Reader 8 installation automatically uninstall all pervious versions of Adobe Reader? This is what I am finding the happen… not sure if it is what is supposed to happen though.
