Advanced Settings

What I am looking for is definitions for the advanced settings in the netware client 3.30.
For the most part they are self-explanatory, but there are some I have no clue what the setting is or even more important what the consequence,effect of changing it is. Trial and error is one approach but I dont have that kind of time on my hands.Novells site doesnt seem to have any explanations for this area of the client. Any ideas?
