Hello All,
We recently setup a Win2K AD/DC on our LAN.
Now I am unable to log onto any other computer using remote desktop or terminal services from within the LAN.
I can log on to the AD/DC through TS, but if I try to log on to any other, i get “the client could not connect to the remote computer. remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. it is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection”.
I changed the PortNumber in the registry, enabled remote connections, opened the windows firewall for the changed port, nothing seems to help.
Now the Windows Firewall says “Windows firewall is using your domain settings”, so i am unsure if the changes i made to the Windows Firewall have actually taken effect.
Also I don’t see anywhere in a Windows 2000 Group Policy which allows control of the Windows Firewall.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
