Alcatel Home PlusPlus 500 for ADSL2?

Hi All,
I have got a Alcatel Home PlusPlus 500 for my internet connection at home. Since the company upgrade my plan from ADSL to ADSL2, the connection became unstable and lost connection every 5 or 10 minutes. From last week, I can not connect at all. The ISP said there is no singal from my modem. So I am just wondering is the modem’s problem or not. Is this modem can be used for ADSL2? I probably can not have another one to test, so anyone got any idea to test the modem?
