All toolbars missing from Word

I have a machine on our network with Office 2000 installed. For some unknown reason all of the toolbars, including the “file”, “edit”, “view” etc dropdown menus are missing in Word and Word ONLY. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Office twice with the same results. As far as I know Excel, Access and PowerPoint are fine. Any ideas?
