Allowing only 20 users to network print.

Senario:

An HP laser_jet printer is configured via IP (laserjet NIC) to a Windows 2000 server box with Web JetAdmin version 7.2. The IP address is a class “b”. There are only 20 users that should be allowed to print (denying all others. All 20 users are on the same segment, but a different segment from the printer (the users and printer are on same floor). I would like to restrict all users from using the printer except for these 20 users.

This means if someone were to map thru the IP,they would be denied. Configuring the NIC card thru the web page, there is an access control section under the “networking” tab. You can allow up to ten users while restricting all others. What can be done to allow only 20 users to print is it possible??
