AMD Optron

Are you using this servers in production? We are in the process of purchasing some new severs and are really looking at these. HP now has them in their Proliant line and aftering configuring two identical systems Inte Xeon and AMD Optron it came out that the Optron was about $2500 cheaper. Thats quite a bit for a $10700 server.

So let me know if you are using and for what applications and if it’s in an HP or other sever and how you think it’s running.
