Ancient and misleading article

Hi folks

A TechRepublic editor really needs to take a look at this 2002 article and at minimum add a warning to say it’s severely out of date.

Almost everything in it is wrong. Some of it was wrong when it was written, and much of the rest is out of date – and because of the failure to mention the versions to which the article applies, also wrong.

It appears to be hard to actually contact TechRepublic directly, which is why I’m posting here.
