Android Phones over Apple Phone (iphone)

for almost a year now im having a hard time which of these 2 could serve me a lot more edge with respect to my career, i am a web developer/designer,.. it would be great if i could have some good advice from great people here in techrepublic.
btw: i just joined the community, and i was surprise how people here supports each and everyone :)..thanks
