Animation movies cannot be played on DVD player

I am unable to play animated dvd movies on my samsung player which plays mpeg-2 format movies. however I am able to any other DVD movies such as terminator or stealth.

Same animated movies also play on my toshiba A4 tecra without a hitch.
What is the problem and how could I resolve it without buying another DVD player
