Antivirus Programs Compatible With Windows 98SE

I have a number of clients who use Windows 98SE as the OS on their PCs. There are many reasons why they do this, too numerous to mention here.
I have recommended AVG version 7.5 to them and have had good success. Unfortunately, AVG no longer supports Windows 98. I have tried BitDefender Antivirus Plus V10 with disastrous results and Avast! with worse consequences.

I have not tried ESET’s NOD32, McAfee or Norton since I was told they did not support WIN 98. If this information is incorrect, please advise.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.
