Antivirus2008.exe … virus or real?

Has anyone discovered the Antivirus 2008? It behaves as a virus in itself, uninstalling is impossible and it resists antivirus software.

It installs itself into multiple locations on the hard drive, gets into temp files, restore folder, and hijacks the web browser. I have tried Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, minimal success in removing, antivirus won’t remove much of it, but detects it as a virus, Spybot S & D removes most of it but not completely, Windows Defender removes a little of it, but again, not all of it.

Has anyone come across this yet?
