Any help/ guidance/ advice for an IT newbie?

I’ve been working as a JR “IT anaylst” (basically desktop support) for about 6 months. I came into this job with no IT experience or training and have a B.S. in Neuroscience. With that being said, my manager has done a great job and teaching me so far, and I really like the work I am doing.

My question is, can anyone recommend some resources, books to read, classes to take, or certs to obtain? I’m in no rush to do everything at once, but I want to continue learning. I feel i know a good amount about computers (at least the easier/ routine stuff) but have no formal training of any kind.
