Any Idea’s Please

I was creating a floppy disk for formatting 98 SE. After forgetting that the disk was in my A drive i turned my computer on and it went to the first boot device(wasn’t my A drive but it did) and ever since that restart my computer sometimes recognizes my hard drive and sometimes it doesn’t. So when i restart my computer sometimes it fires right up and then the next time it just goes to the boot device and stays on that screen. The next time i went to start the computer and hit the delete key and when it opened the cmos settings i notice it wasn’t recognizing my hard drive it just said NONE. I then tried to do a” A:\fdisk mbr ” and this didn’t help. Any idea anyone
