Anyone find a fix yet for Lantastic Speed problem with XP ?

The *uploading* speed has been a reported problem for a couple of years and I was hoping someone had found a workaround or written a patch.

There are a couple of recent reports that running Spybot Search & Destroy in the background speeds things up. I haven’t tried that, but maybe it’s a clue to what can be done.
