I just re-sized my hard drive’s FAT partition from 1G to 2G with Partition Magic 6.0 and immediately started having trouble making a backup to my Jaz disk using Iomega Backup. (I’m now getting disk sector errors and Scsi timeout errors which I neverhad before the re-sizing.) Iomega support suggested uninstalling Iomega Backup and IomegaWare and re-installing their latest software from their web site. I did this. However, it didn’t help the backup problem but it did give me another problem.After the re-installation of the latest downloaded software, I re-booted my PC and all my desktop shortcuts appeared with a yellow AOL Instant Messenger icon superimposed on top of the real icon. Also, any shortcut that I now create gets the AOL Instant Messenger icon on top of the real icon. How can I correct shortcut problem? The Iomega Jaz Backup problem is still a mystery also.
