Aopen F77JS monitors getting “dark”

Hello Gang- First time poster but longtime lurker. I have 2 Aopen F77JS monitors that are getting “darker” By that I mean I crank up the brightness on the monitor yet you can still barely read anything on the display. Does anyone have any tips for getting these working or are they just expensive paperweights now? Thanks in advance for any replies!
